It means the pleasure of living in a familiar environment throughout one's maturing years, and the ability to enjoy the familiar daily rituals and the special events that enrich all our lives. Three Aging In Place Basic Needs:
*AIP without urgent needs: Planning for aging in place in the future or
incorporating easy mobility in the home for loved ones.
*AIP with progressive condition based needs: Making modifications for those
who have a chronic or progressive condition that will allow them to age in place.
*AIP with traumatic change needs: The necessity of modifications for those
who have experienced an abrupt or traumatic change.
